Unidentified man evicted from MLA Vanathi Srinivasan’s office, commits suicide later

In a bizarre incident, an unidentified man barged into Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan’s office and locked the door. After he was expelled from the office, he committed suicide by jumping in front of a bus shortly thereafter. The shocking CCTV footage of the incident has been released.



Coimbatore: CCTV footage of a man who was evicted after trespassing into the office of Coimbatore South MLA committed suicide by jumping in front of a bus has gone viral on social media.

The office of the Member of The Coimbatore South Assembly constituency is functioning near the Coimbatore Race Road Police Station. BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has been using the office.



A person who entered this office tried to lock the doors of the room inside. Vijayan, who was in the assembly office, caught hold of the man who locked himself and evicted him. A complaint has been lodged with the police in this regard.

Meanwhile, the man, who was crossing the road near Anna statue signal, suddenly committed suicide by jumping in front of a government bus. The CCTV footage of the incident has now been released.

It is to be noted that the police are investigating the identity of the person.
