MLA Vanathi Srinivasan gives new desks, seats, benches to Coimbatore Corporation school

Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan handed over the desk and bench purchased from the MLA's fund to the Corporation Middle School in Tatabad area. Speaking on the occasion, she said, "We will welcome actor Vijay if he comes into politics.

Coimbatore: Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan presented new desks and seats to a corporation school in Tatabad area.

At the Corporation Middle School in Tatabad area of Coimbatore, a function was held on Thursday to distribute the desk and benches purchased from the MLA's fund.

Coimbatore South MLA and BJP national women's wing president Vanathi Srinivasan attended the function and distributed the new desks and benches for use.

He then interacted with teachers and students and listened to the demands.

Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Vanathi Srinivasan said that there is a shortage of teachers in corporation schools. Even the salaries of the teachers are being collected through the parents' association which is a big problem. The number of students is declining due to shortage of teachers.

Moreover, students studying in Tamil and English medium are made to sit in the same class and teach. On the one hand, we are saying that Tamil Nadu is the best state in education. But the condition of primary and high school government schools is poor.

Problems arise every time in the teacher exams. This affects the education of the students. Therefore, the Education Minister should immediately provide the necessary things to the schools.

In Tamil Nadu, g20 summit-related programmes are going on continuously. But the Tamil Nadu government has not given importance to it and taken it to the younger generation. In other states, the G20 summit is being better popularised.

It is sad that important G20 events are taking place in Tamil Nadu but they are not given importance. This is not an event of the BJP government. This is an event that will make the whole of India proud. India is leading the G20 countries and people from different countries come to these events.

Therefore, the Government of Tamil Nadu should give importance to this and take it to the people. The arrest of BJP is the arrest of small people whether they comment on Twitter or make criticisms. This shows that the government considers themselves weak.

If you criticise the Chief Minister, arrests are taken. But no action will be taken against those who make derogatory comments about PM Modi and the central government.

Talking about Chief Minister Stalin's visit to Bihar, she said, When the DMK was in opposition, they protested when Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Tamil Nadu. Now when Stalin goes to Bihar, #GoBackstalin is gaining popularity on Twitter. This is being returned because of the misrepresentation of the people of Bihar.

Speaking about actor Vijay's entry into politics, she said, Anyone can enter politics. If Vijay has entered politics, we wholeheartedly welcome it. This is because democracy will get a new momentum when the youth participate in politics more and more.

So, if actor Vijay also comes directly into politics, we welcome not only Vijay but also any actor. When it comes to this, it is very important how people work and how they talk about people's problems.

An actor who came earlier said that he would be the next chief minister. They think of politics like shooting. It is not politics. Politics is about giving life. My heartiest congratulations to actor Vijay on his birthday."

Speaking on the Manipur riots, he said the High Court's order there has created great tension between the two sides and created a lack of trust between the two factions. The Union Home Minister is constantly monitoring this. A peace committee has been formed to keep the riots under control and action is being taken. The situation is being monitored continuously.“
