My deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in this accident. The college administration has acted in an irresponsible manner.

All the walls around the college are in this situation. I visited here with the secretary two months ago when it was raining heavily. The rain water was knee-deep at the time.

Despite repeated warnings, the college administration ignored this. This is how the college administration works. The municipal corporation cannot be held responsible for the wall collapse. The corporation has issued letters to the college administration in this regard several times. But the college management did not pay attention.

The police should take strict action against the college management. This compound wall is tied with only stones without any wire. The odai in Palaniappa Nagar has been encroached upon and a compound has been constructed. This is what he said.

Sivakumar, the residents of the area, said,

The accident occurred because the compound wall was too high. The compound walls that surround the college are almost ten kilometres long. They are all rather tall. This is what he stated.
