He inaugurated the construction of new tar roads at 18 places under Palladam & Pongalur Panchayat Unions in Tirupur North District at an estimated cost of Rs.12.85 crore under The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Rural Road Development Programme.
Palladam West Union Secretary Su Krishnamurthy, Palladam East Union Secretary Na Somasundaram, Pongalur West Union Secretary P Ashokan, Pongalur East Union Secretary Sa Balusamy, District Deputy Secretary, Pongalur Union Perunthalaivar Su Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
