It was an exciting day for the students of Good Shepherd Primary School in Kottamedu, as the counting of votes for the student election finally came to an end. After a closely fought battle, the results of the election were announced today - revealing who would be the new student leaders of the school.
Coimbatore: On Monday, a student election was held at Good Shepherd Primary School in the Kottamedu area of Coimbatore. Following that, the voting was completed today, and the names of the winning students were announced.
Accordingly, Sajjad Mujahid as a student leader won with 184 more votes. As vice-president, Hisham Aslam won with 182 maximum votes. Jerome Ryan won the school's food chief with 133 most votes.
Imran was elected school sports president with 173 votes. Mohamed Paris was elected as the school's environmental leader with the highest number of votes (119).
Vimal, the teacher of the school, presented the success certificates to the successful students. The school's teachers also congratulated all of the winners.
Meanwhile, fellow students celebrated the winning students.
This will be followed by the swearing-in ceremony of the successful students on Friday. The District Chief Educational Officer will attend the ceremony and administer the oath of office.
