47 petitions received during Public Grievances Day Meeting in Coimbatore

In the public grievances day meeting held at the head office of Coimbatore Corporation yesterday (25.07.2023), 47 petitions were submitted to mayor Kalpana Anandakumar. After receiving the petitions, the Mayor directed the concerned authorities to take appropriate action.



Coimbatore: Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar has directed the officials to take appropriate action on the petitions submitted by the public at the public grievances day meeting held at coimbatore corporation.



Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the public grievances day meeting held at the main office of coimbatore corporation on 25.07.2023.



Corporation Commissioner Prathap presided over the meeting.



During the meeting, 47 petitions were submitted to the Mayor, including various demands on basic amenities including birth and death certificates, road facility, electric lights, drinking water facility, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health and education.



Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, who received the memorandums, directed the concerned zonal assistant commissioners, engineers and officials to take immediate appropriate action on the petitions.
