As a part of the programme, he inspected the Government Iti for Men and The Government Industrial Training Institute for Women at Thudiyalur on Mettupalayam Road.
Minister C V Ganesan interacted with the students and teachers present there. In this situation, the men at the Government Industrial Training Institute welcomed the Minister and on the board was written 'thottanai thoorum', which begins with 'thottanai thoorum'.
In that Thirukkural, instead of 'thottanai thoorum', it was wrongly written as 'thottanaithu oorum'.
The Minister noticed this and pointed out the mistake by reading the Thirukural as a line of writing. He also instructed them to correct Thirukural correctly without error.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has established 72 Modern Technology Centres in 102 ITIs in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs.2871 crores to generate employment opportunities for the studying youth.
As a result, the Chief Minister has created an opportunity for the youth to work in world class institutions. The building has been constructed at ITI, Coimbatore at a cost of Rs 3.73 crore. Equipment worth Rs 31 crore has been purchased. This has been done jointly by the government and Tata Technologies.
More than 1,400 students are studying in the Government Industrial Training Institute, Coimbatore.
