DMK’s youth wing, students' wing and medical wing are on a hunger strike across Tamil Nadu today.
Minister Swaminathan, who is on a hunger strike in Tirupur, said that NEET exam will disappear when the I N D I A coalition government is formed at the Centre where the DMK alliance will win all the 40 constituencies, including Puducherry in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
DMK’s youth wing, students' wing and medical wing are on a hunger strike across Tamil Nadu today, demanding that the Centre withdraw neet exam in the wake of the suicide of 28 people in tamil nadu due to neet exam.
As a part of this, the youth wing of Tirupur North and South district, the students' wing and the doctors' wing staged a hunger strike in front of the Tirupur railway station.
State Tamil Development and Information Minister M P Saminathan participated in the hunger strike and inaugurated the hunger strike.
Earlier, party workers, including the minister, paid floral tributes to the portrait of Anitha, a student who died due to NEET exam.
Speaking to the media, Saminathan said that the medical dream of the common poor students was being lost due to the Neet examination of the Union government and that Kalaignar Karunanithi had opposed the entrance test when he was in power and made it withdrawn.
He said that in Tamil Nadu, which has the best doctors who can advise doctors not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the world, all the doctors have become doctors before NEET and in the coming Lok Sabha elections, the DMK alliance will win all the 40 seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and neet will disappear when the I N D I A coalition government is formed at the Centre.
Corporation Mayor Dinesh Kumar, MLA Selvaraj and over 1,000 people participated in the hunger strike.
