CM Stalin has cheated by not paying all women the Magalir Urimai Thogai - Pollachi Jayaraman

He asked “how many housewives are there in Tamil Nadu? Those who got married from one family and moved to another house are separate families. Even if there are two women, they are separate families.”

Coimbatore: Pollachi Jayaraman has alleged that the Chief Minister has cheated all women by not giving rs 1,000 under the Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme.

On the occasion of the 115th birth anniversary of Arignar Anna, a function was held at the Pollachi MLA's office to pay floral tributes to the portrait of Anna.

Former Deputy Speaker and Pollachi MLA Jayaraman were among those who attended the function and distributed sweets.

Later, in an interview to reporters, Pollachi Jayaraman said,

After 30 months, the Chief Minister, who claimed to be giving Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme, has given the name to the mothers of Tamil Nadu who had great expectations like butter for one eye and lime for one eye.

Any project should be implemented in such a way that it reaches out to everyone. During the AIADMK regime, various schemes including corona relief fund and Pongal special amount were implemented for people from all walks of life.

But how many housewives are there in Tamil Nadu? Those who got married from one family and moved to another house are separate families. Even if there are two women, they are separate families. The women of the family will give the right whip because of this scheme which is deceiving the people of Tamil Nadu as a whole.

Stalin has suffered a major setback with this project. During the AIADMK regime, the system of 'everything for all' was adopted. Pollachi Jayaraman alleged that only the DMK party was looked after and given to them.
