National Nutrition Month Celebrations - Awareness human chain of noon meal workers in Coimbatore

On the occasion of National Nutrition Month celebrations, noon meal workers participated in a human chain awareness campaign near Ramanathapuram bus stop in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: More than 100 anganwadi workers have come together to create awareness about nutrients and nutrition.

The entire month of September is observed as National Nutrition Month. Since the beginning of the month, various awareness programmes have been conducted by anganwadi workers at various places.



As a part of this, a human chain awareness programme was organized near Ramanathapuram bus stop on behalf of Integrated Child Development Project 4 Singanallur Block and Sarkar Samakulam Block.



More than 100 anganwadi workers came together to conduct a human chain programme to create awareness about nutrients and nutrition.



It is to be noted that the National Nutrition Month celebrations are being held throughout the month to ensure the nutrition of pregnant women, lactating mothers and children from the age of six to the age of six.
