Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai calls DMK government's Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme a "deception" in Udumalpet.
En mann en makkal Yatra at Udumalpet in Tirupur district started in Rajakaliamman Koil areas and passed through the main streets of Udumalpet city such as old bus stand, periya kadai street and thali road to the central bus stand.
Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai addressed a public meeting.
Then he spoke,
In the last 10 years, India has grown exponentially under the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while india was lagging far behind during the Congress rule.
In particular, the recent g-20 summit was successfully organised by international leaders. The rule in Tamil Nadu can be termed as family rule. The DMK government is a government in which only family members are the chief minister's father, son, minister, sister, MP and relatives have important positions.
Now, in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme has been launched to deceive the people. There is no doubt that it will be a minimum of six months of implementation.
At present, Tamil Nadu is the largest borrower state in India. And the law and order situation is very bad. The DMK government is the only government in the state that depends on the government liquor shop, especially in Palladam where four people were murdered overnight.
The present DMK government has increased the number of TASMAC shops after former minister Kamaraj Thirumoorthy and the amaravathi dam were constructed.
The sale of ganja in Udumalpet is going on day and night. In many places, there has been a continuous increase in the number of criminal activities due to the illegal functioning of government bars.
These should be prevented. Adequate funds should be allocated for the renovation of Amaravathi Cooperative Sugar Mills. The menace of wildlife is more prevalent in the villages adjoining the forest near Udumalpet. He made various comments, including that no action has been taken by the forest department as the livelihood of the farmers is in question.
More than 1,000 people, including Coimbatore district divisional in-charge Muruganantham, Tirupur South district president Mangalam Ravi, Udumalai city BJP president Kannayiram and state and district sarappu team office-bearers, participated in the meeting.
