At the public grievances day meeting held at the coimbatore corporation's main office, the public submitted 51 petitions to Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.
Coimbatore: Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar has directed the concerned corporation department officials to take immediate action on the petitions submitted by the public.
Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar presided over the public grievances day meeting held at the Coimbatore Corporation's main office today (03.10.2023).

Corporation Commissioner (Full Additional Charge) Dr. S. Selvasurabhi, Deputy Mayor R. Vetriselvan and Deputy Commissioner K. Sivakumar were present at the meeting.

At the meeting, 51 people from all parts of the corporation submitted petitions to the mayor. The petitions containing various demands pertaining to basic amenities such as birth and death certificates, road facilities, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, industrial tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health and education were received.
Of these, 8 petitions were filed in the eastern zone, 14 in the west zone, seven in the north zone, six in the south zone, 15 in the central zone, one in the main office, and a total of 51 petitions were filed by the public.

Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, who received the petitions, directed the concerned zonal assistant commissioners, engineers and officials to take immediate appropriate action on these petitions.
