Vasan was refused bail, with the judge stating that the incident should serve as a lesson for him. He will remain in custody for his actions.

Justice C.V. Karthikeyan cited concerns raised by the Additional Public Prosecutor, highlighting Vasan's influence on 4.5 million young followers who imitated his behavior. The prosecutor mentioned instances of criminal activities by these followers and emphasized that Vasan was saved riding a ₹20 lakh motorcycle and wearing a ₹2 lakh suit during the incident.

The judge remarked that the accident served as a lesson for Vasan and ruled to keep him in custody, instructing a medical examination for his reported hand injury.
