Former Minister SP Velumani emphasized the significance of the AIADMK’s development schemes of the past 5 years which he claimed to be worth 50 years of development during a booth committee meeting in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A special meeting took place in Idhayadeivam Maaligai, Coimbatore, attended by the booth committee heads and administrators, along with some special invitees such as opposition’s whip, former minister SP Velumani, and former MLA Jayavardhanan.
During the meeting, SP Velumani highlighted the previous five years of AIADMK’s rule, emphasizing the various development projects initiated during this period. He pointed out that the incumbent DMK government has not brought forth substantial welfare projects for the people and is merely continuing the schemes already inaugurated by the AIADMK.
Velumani specifically advised the booth committee heads to diligently work towards involving more new voters who have reached the age of 18, to join AIADMK. He underscored the necessity to elucidate the welfare projects executed by AIADMK clearly to the public to garner votes.


Additionally, there was a call for action for the booth committee heads and administrators to empathize with the common people’s challenges and act as pillars of support. He further insisted on popularizing the beneficial projects of AIADMK amongst the public to gather significant votes in the forthcoming elections.

Key figures including election in-charge Jayavardhanan spoke during the meeting, expressing that all booth committee members and administrators in Coimbatore district should act as ambassadors of the people’s welfare, promoting AIADMK’s welfare schemes to secure a substantial amount of votes in the upcoming elections.
