Coimbatore: On the morning of January 3, 2024, an extensive dengue mosquito eradication drive was undertaken in Shanti Nagar, Ward No. 27 of Coimbatore's North Zone.



The efforts included identifying mosquito larvae in stagnant water, removing the water, and treating water tanks with abate medicine. Councillor Ambika Dhanapal personally inspected these activities and took the opportunity to raise awareness among the public about dengue prevention. The initiative highlights the local government's commitment to public health and the prevention of vector-borne diseases.
