Fire accident in a furniture shop at Saibaba Colony.


This morning at around 11 am, fire broke out at in a furniture shop (Abirami Furniture) located in Saibaba Colony. 

The shop is owned by Parasuram and is located on the second floor of a complex. It is reported that products worth several lakhs were gutted in the fire accident. Fire personnel from Kavundampalayam immediately rushed to the spot and began dousing the fire.

After one hour, the fire was doused completely.  Initial reports indicate that an electric short circuit could have caused the fire. However, a case has been registered and the investigation is on.
