Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya in Periyanayakanpalayam, Coimbatore, gears up for the Guru Poornima celebration on January 7th, featuring various spiritual and cultural events.
Coimbatore: The prestigious Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya in Periyanayakanpalayam, Coimbatore, is all set to host the Guru Poornima festival in honor of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa on Sunday, January 7th.
The day's events will begin early at 5 AM with Aarathi, poojas, and performances by various bhajan groups including Periyanayakanpalayam Bhajan Group, Palamalai Aranganathar Bhajan Group, students of Avinashilingam Home Science College, Thandapani Nama Sankirtan Group, Mettupalayam Sri Vasudevan Group, and bhajans by Swami Harivratananda.
At 7 AM, the Vidyalaya flag will be hoisted by Swami Vimokshananda, the head of the Yelagiri Ramakrishna Math. Following this, at 8 AM, an art and education exhibition set up at the Vidyalaya's autonomous Arts and Science College premises will be inaugurated by Justice G.R. Swaminathan of the Chennai High Court. Swami Vimokshananda and Justice G.R. Swaminathan will also deliver speeches during the exhibition's opening ceremony. This event will offer a blend of spiritual reverence and cultural showcase, reflecting the ethos of the Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya.
