Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore is offering a unique opportunity for farmers, general public, entrepreneurs, and students to learn about sustainable fertilizer production. Scheduled for 12.01.2024, this one-day certificate training program will focus on creating compost and vermicompost from farm and agro-industrial wastes.

Participants will be educated on the processes and benefits of producing matured compost and enhancing soil fertility through these organic means. The program aims to promote eco-friendly farming practices and increase awareness about sustainable agriculture.

The training, priced at Rs. 750 per participant, will be held at the Environmental Department's Compost Technology Complex. It presents a hands-on experience for attendees to directly engage in the composting process.
