The key initiatives highlighted include the 'Kalaignar Women's Rights Scheme' providing Rs. 1,000 monthly aid, the 'Puthumai Penn Scheme' offering financial assistance to college girls, and free bus travel for women. The government also offers a subsidy for up to 5 sovereigns of gold loan at cooperative banks, free electricity connections for farmers' pump sets benefiting 1.5 lakh agriculturists, and a breakfast scheme for school children.
