CRPF Training Academy in Coimbatore witnessed the graduation ceremony of 57 ex-military personnel who completed their training and were sworn in as Sub-Inspectors.
Coimbatore: At the CRPF Training Academy in Kathirnaickenpalayam, Rakkipalayam area of Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, a significant event unfolded as 57 former military personnel from the 96th batch completed their training and were inducted as Sub-Inspectors. The badge ceremony was presided over by Ajay Bharathan, IG and Principal of the Coimbatore CRPF Training Academy.

This initiative allows ex-servicemen under 45 years from the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy to join the CRPF. Participants from various Indian states completed a rigorous 6-week training program under the 96th batch.

The graduation ceremony saw the veterans taking the oath of office and allegiance to the national flag and the CRPF flag. Ajay Bharathan, in his address, commended the veterans for their past services and encouraged them to continue serving the nation with dedication as CRPF personnel.
Following the ceremony, IG Bharathan bestowed the Sub-Inspector badges upon the graduates and participated in a group photo session. The veterans also presented a memento to IG Bharathan. The event was attended by TC Rajesh Dogra and other CRPF officials.
It's noteworthy that these newly appointed Sub-Inspectors will serve in strategic locations such as Jammu-Kashmir, Chandigarh, and the North-Eastern regions.
