Coimbatore Police Commissioner Inaugurates 90 New CCTV Cameras in Saibaba Colony

Commissioner Balakrishnan launched 90 new CCTV cameras in Bharathi Park and NSR Road areas under Saibaba Colony Police Station, enhancing security and surveillance in Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: Enhancing the city's security infrastructure, Commissioner of Police Balakrishnan inaugurated 90 new CCTV cameras yesterday in the Bharathi Park and NSR Road areas, falling under the jurisdiction of Saibaba Colony Police Station.

This significant addition to the city’s surveillance system aims to increase safety and monitor activities in these busy areas of Coimbatore. The presence of these high-definition CCTV cameras is expected to deter criminal activities and aid in traffic management.

Ward Councilor Saravanakumar and other dignitaries were present at the inauguration. The initiative demonstrates the Coimbatore Police Department's commitment to employing technology for public safety and creating a secure environment for the residents and visitors of Coimbatore.
