Journalist Attacked in Tiruppur; Inspector Placed on Waiting List for Inaction

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has directed the Journalist Welfare Board to provide a financial assistance of INR 3 lakhs to the journalist, Nesaprabhu, who is currently receiving medical treatment.


Coimbatore: In a recent incident in Tiruppur district, a private television channel journalist was attacked. This has led to significant administrative action. The police inspector associated with the case has been ordered to be immediately placed on the waiting list for his failure to take appropriate action in response to the incident.
