Coimbatore Businessman Builds Auditorium in Sister's Memory for Government School

In a heartwarming tribute, a businessman from Coimbatore constructs an auditorium for the government school his late sister attended.

Coimbatore: A touching gesture has emerged from Sulur, near Coimbatore, where a businessman has built an auditorium in memory of his late sister. Murugesan, who runs a hair accessory company named Manimegalai Tex, decided to honor his sister, Manimegalai, who was an alumna and an outstanding student of the Government Middle School in Ganapathy Palayam village, near Sulur.

The recent and unexpected demise of his sister inspired Murugesan to contribute to her alma mater. He financed the construction of an auditorium at the school, providing a fund of approximately 1.5 lakhs rupees. The inauguration of this auditorium took place on Monday, with local community members, school teachers, and students attending the event.

Speaking at the inauguration, Murugesan, a former student of the same school, expressed his desire to give back in his sister's memory. He highlighted the importance of such contributions to the betterment of government schools and encouraged others to support their alma maters.

This initiative by Murugesan not only honors his sister's memory but also serves as an inspiration for others to contribute to the development of educational institutions, particularly government schools.
