Due to monthly maintenance work, areas under Karumathampatti Substation, Elachipalayam Substation, Somanur substation and Kallipalayam substation in Coimbatore experienced power supply disruption from 9 AM to 5 PM today.
Coimbatore: Residents in various parts of Coimbatore are set to face a power outage today, February 9th, as the Electricity Board has scheduled monthly maintenance work across several substations. The power supply will be halted from 9 AM to 5 PM to facilitate these essential maintenance activities.
The affected substations and their respective areas include:
- Somanur Substation: Power will be cut in areas such as Somanur, Karumathampatti, Krishnapuram, Samalapuram, Ramachiyampalayam, Thottipalayam, Senthil Nagar, Paramasivampalayam, and parts of Kaniyur.
- Karumathampatti Substation: The outage will affect Rayarpalayam, Karumathampatti-Nalroad, and Thanneer Pandal.
- Elachipalayam Substation: Sekudanthali and Elachipalayam will experience power cuts.
