Coimbatore: A significant crowd gathered for a demonstration organized by the Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath (TNTJ) in Ukkadam, Coimbatore, this evening at 5 PM, urging the protection of religious sites across India. Led by district president T.A. Abbas, the event saw active participation from district secretary Hakeem, and deputy secretaries Hassan and Salman, who raised slogans emphasizing the importance of safeguarding places of worship.

Special guest and TNTJ State Vice President Sabeer Ali initiated the protest speech, stressing the necessity of protecting all religious sites in accordance with the Places of Worship Act, 1991.

The demonstration also saw the presence of district treasurer Nasar and administrators Mujeeb Rahman, Kasim, and Ashiq, alongside branch administrators, men, and women, totaling over a thousand participants joining the call for action.
