Tirupur: In a significant event highlighting the importance of yoga in today’s lifestyle, Swami Parmarth Devji conducted a one-day integrated yoga camp in Tirupur. The camp, organized by the Patanjali Yoga Samiti of Coimbatore and Tirupur along with the Tirupur Seva Samiti at the Seva Samiti premises on College Road, offered free yoga and pranayama lessons to the attendees.
Swami Parmarth Devji, a disciple of Swami Ji Ramdevji and a leading figure from the Patanjali Yogpeeth, emphasized the transformative power of yoga and its universal applicability, stating that yoga has become a global phenomenon, enhancing health and wellness across the world.

The event was inaugurated with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony in the presence of dignitaries such as Sashi Agarwal, President of the Tirupur Seva Samiti; Vice President Devaraj Singh; Secretary Arun Kaithan; and Usha Agarwal. The inauguration was marked by Swamiji's Om Havan chant, setting a spiritual tone for the day.
Swami Parmarth Devji, during his address, noted that Tirupur, a city with a rich history of valor and sacrifice, is also a land where yoga has thrived, enriched by the legacy of great yogis and sages like Agastya and Patanjali. He highlighted that yoga's impact is boundless, offering a path to holistic health and wellness for everyone, transcending cultural and geographical barriers.

The camp saw the participation of a diverse group of individuals, including yoga instructors from different communities, showcasing the inclusive nature of yoga. The event concluded with the distribution of yogic postic snacks and Moringa soup, underscoring the importance of diet in yoga practice. Over fifty children from Tirupur also demonstrated advanced yoga techniques, receiving certificates of appreciation from the Patanjali Yoga Samiti, further underlining the camp’s success in spreading the message of yoga.
The event precedes a similar yoga camp and training session led by Swami Parmarth Devji and Swami Rit Devji in Chennai on the 18th, as announced by Kishore Kumar Jain, the State Media Head of Patanjali Yoga Samiti.
