Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Airport has announced the resumption of flight services to Goa and Hyderabad, following a temporary halt. This reinstatement is part of a broader effort to enhance air connectivity from Coimbatore to various cities across India and international destinations, including Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Sharjah, and Singapore. The services to Goa and Hyderabad, which had been suspended for a few months, are now back in operation.
Officials from the Coimbatore Airport shared that on average, between 23 to 29 flights are operated daily, covering a wide range of national and international routes. The resumed services between Coimbatore and Goa, as well as Coimbatore and Hyderabad, are part of this schedule. Starting from the first week of February, the Coimbatore-Goa flight service has been initiated, operating four days a week on alternate days.
