Engineering Maintenance Work Leads to Partial Train Cancellations Between Coimbatore and Nagercoil

Due to engineering maintenance works, the Salem Railway Division announced the partial cancellation of the Nagercoil-Coimbatore unreserved express train (No: 16321) from February 23 to February 28 between Nagercoil and Dindigul. Similarly, the Coimbatore-Nagercoil unreserved express train (No: 16322) will only operate between Coimbatore and Dindigul during the same period.


Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division has issued a notice regarding the partial cancellation of train services between Nagercoil and Coimbatore due to scheduled engineering maintenance works. The Nagercoil-Coimbatore unreserved express train (No: 16321) is set to be partially cancelled from February 23 to February 28, operating only between Dindigul and Coimbatore during this period.

Similarly, the Coimbatore-Nagercoil unreserved express train (No: 16322) will also see a partial cancellation on the same dates, with service limited to the stretch between Coimbatore and Dindigul.

The engineering maintenance work necessitates these adjustments to ensure safety and infrastructure improvement. Passengers are advised to take note of these changes and plan their travels accordingly. The railway division has taken steps to minimize inconvenience to passengers and maintain the safety and integrity of the railway infrastructure during this maintenance period.
