Coimbatore: In an effort to address the infrastructure needs of the growing city, Mr. M.A. Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS, Commissioner of the Coimbatore City Corporation, personally inspected a site in Subramaniampalayam, located in Ward No. 15 of the North Zone, for the establishment of a new sewage pumping station. The site inspection, conducted on February 24, 2024, near the overhead water tank, is part of the city's initiative to improve sewage management in the area.
Accompanying the Commissioner were Council Member Mrs. Shanthamani, Assistant Commissioner Mrs. Sridevi, Assistant Engineer Mr. Ezhil, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Assistant Engineer Mrs. Manjula, City Corporation Sanitary Officer Mr. Radhakrishnan, and Assistant Engineer Mr. Ilankovan. The team assessed the location and the Commissioner directed the relevant officials to expedite the commencement of the work.
