The protestors, including Youth Congress district leaders Babu (City), Sagaputhin (North District), Youth Congress district general secretary TR Sandeep, Sojan, state executives Saravanakumar, Arun Prakash, Ashok, public relations officer Kothandan, Sai Kannan, OBC state general secretary Mastan, city district Congress general secretary Mohammad Hasan, Student Congress members Irfan, Kishore, Nawbil Ahmad, and volunteers, expressed their concern over the negative impact of these policies on Tirupur's thriving textile sector.
