Coimbatore: In adherence to the Chief Minister's orders, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was held today (March 6) at the District Police Superintendent's Office, located near the Coimbatore Railway Station. The camp was led by District Police Superintendent Badrinath, aimed at re-investigating petitions that previously did not find satisfactory resolutions and examining new submissions by the public.

During the camp, a total of 72 petitions related to family disputes, financial transactions, and property issues were re-investigated. This thorough process led to the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) on three petitions, Complaint Status Reports (CSRs) on one, and recommendations for further investigation on eleven. Meanwhile, smooth resolutions were found for 57 petitions, showcasing the camp's effectiveness in addressing public grievances.

The event saw additional participation from Deputy Superintendents of Police and Police Inspectors, who took concerted efforts to resolve the complaints lodged by the public. This initiative underlines the commitment of the Coimbatore police department towards ensuring justice and providing a platform for the public to voice their concerns directly to the authorities.
