During a campaign visit in Coimbatore for DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar, Tamil Nadu Industry Minister TRB Rajaa's vehicle was subjected to a surprise inspection by the election flying squad, creating a momentary stir in Goundampalayam.

Coimbatore: In an unusual turn of events amidst the political campaigning in Coimbatore, the election flying squad conducted a surprise inspection on the vehicle of Tamil Nadu Industry Minister TRB Rajaa.

This occurred during his visit to Goundampalayam to support DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar for the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency. The inspection team, acting on their mandate to ensure the fairness of the election process, opened the rear door of the minister's car to conduct the check. Despite the unexpected inspection, no irregularities were found.

The incident caused a brief commotion among the gathered crowd and campaign workers, highlighting the stringent measures in place for election security. Minister TRB Rajaa, a key figure in rallying support for the DMK in Coimbatore, was notably absent during the inspection. The incident has not deterred the campaign efforts; if anything, it emphasized the rigorous adherence to electoral regulations. The minister continued his campaign for Ganapathi Rajkumar, undeterred by the day's earlier events, focusing on gathering support for the upcoming elections.
