Dharapuram: In a remarkable act of prompt assistance and bravery, two police officers were commended for saving the life of a man who collapsed at the Dharapuram bus station. On the evening of April 14th, Palani, a 36-year-old man from Nagapattinam district, fell unconscious while waiting for a bus.
Observing the distressing situation, Special Assistants Inspectors Gopal and Nandhagopal, who were on highway patrol duty, rushed to his aid. They administered CPR and rescued the fainting man, immediately rushing him to the Dharapuram Government Hospital, thus saving his life.
