A team of Officials from the City Corporation and town planning department today retrieved reserve sites pertaining to the Corporation in Ward 17, 40, 35 and 74. This team under the guidance of Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan has recovered upto 27.94 acres of reserve site in all five zones.
Today, on 1st April, 2017 the team has recovered 2.45 acres of land worth Rs. 15.86 crore. The reserve sites were retrieved from:
In West zone, Ward No:17, Gugan Nagar, Vadavalli 90 cents of land worth 5.4 crore.
In North Zone, Ward No:430, Krishnarayapuram, BBC Street, 55 cents of lands worth RS. 5.5 crore.
In East Zone, Ward No:35, Kalapatti, Kamarajar Nagar, 19 cents of land worth 2.5 crore.
In the Central Zone, Ward No:74, Ramanathapuram, Rukmani Garden Park I, 68 cents of land worth Rs. 2.07 crore, and in Rukmani Garden Park II, 13 cents of land worth 0.39 crore.
