Coimbatore Constituency hops to only 47 Percent Voter Turnout by 4 PM

As of 4 PM, the Coimbatore Parliamentary Constituency has reported a voter turnout of 47.03%, with Sulur leading the tally with 55.84 percent.


Coimbatore: The electoral fervor continues in the Coimbatore Parliamentary Constituency with a near 50% voter turnout reported by 4 PM. The Election Commission's latest data reflects a diligent participation from the electorate with Sulur Assembly Constituency registering the highest turnout of 55.84% thus far.

The polling began in the morning, and voters from different demographics have been visiting their respective polling stations throughout the day. The percentages reflect an active civic engagement across the constituencies, including Palladam, Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore (North), Coimbatore (South), and Singanallur. Notably, the transgender community's participation has been marked with a 4.72% turnout.
