Water Supply to be Halted in Kavundampalayam, Vadavalli, and Veerakeralam Due to Maintenance Work

Due to urgent maintenance, water supply will be suspended in Kavundampalayam, Vadavalli, and Veerakeralam on April 25th and 26th. Normal services will resume on April 27th morning.


Coimbatore: As per a recent notification from the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD), urgent maintenance activities are scheduled for the metro water supply infrastructure under the joint drinking water project. The maintenance focuses on the 600 mm diameter pipes that channel purified water through areas like Vellakinar, Periyanaickenpalayam, Periyamathampalayam, and Narasimhanaickenpalayam.




These essential maintenance works are set to take place today, April 25th, and tomorrow, April 26th. Consequently, residents of Kavundampalayam, Vadavalli, and Veerakeralam under the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation will experience a temporary suspension of water supply for these two days. Water supply is expected to resume to normal operations from the morning of April 27th following the completion of the maintenance work.
