Coimbatore BJP Youth Wing Secretary Naresh Kumar Dies in Road Accident

BJP Youth Wing Secretary from Coimbatore, Naresh Kumar, died in a road accident on Siruvani Road, Mathampatti last night. MLA Vanathi Srinivasan expressed her condolences.


Coimbatore: In a tragic incident, Naresh Kumar, the Coimbatore BJP Youth Wing Secretary, lost his life in a road accident last night. Aged 30, Kumar was riding his bike along Siruvani Road in Mathampatti when he collided head-on with another bike.


The accident threw Kumar several feet away from his bike, causing him severe injuries. Passersby rushed him to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Kumar succumbed to his injuries early this morning.


Meanwhile, the rider of the other bike managed to escape with minor injuries. Perur Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.


In the wake of this tragedy, Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan expressed her deep sorrow over Kumar’s untimely demise. On her Facebook page today, she posted, “It is with great sadness that I learned about the death of Naresh Kumar, Secretary of the Coimbatore BJP Youth Wing and the South Constituency Shakti Kendra pramukh. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May his soul find eternal peace. Om Shanti.”
