Coimbatore Announces Summer Sports Camp - Coimbatore District Administration

Coimbatore District Administration announces a 15-day Summer Sports Camp starting from April 29, 2024, at Nehru Stadium and the adjacent Municipal Grounds, catering to students under 18, featuring various sports.



Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announced today, April 26, that Coimbatore District will host a Summer Sports Camp for 15 days from April 29 to May 13, 2024. The sports camp will take place at Nehru Stadium and the adjoining Municipal Grounds and will feature athletic, basketball, handball, gymnastics, and football competitions.

The camp is open to students aged 18 and below. Training sessions are scheduled from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A training fee, determined by the head office, is set at Rs. 200 per participant, which can be paid only through online or POS machine transactions. Cash payments are strictly not accepted.
