Coimbatore: On May 1st, marking Labour Day, the Devanoor Pudur branch of the DMK inaugurated a new water and buttermilk stall near the Devanoor Pudur Bus Stand in the Udumalaipettai West Union, Tiruppur South District. The stall, aimed at providing relief to the locals and passers-by during the hot summer days, was started by K. Eswarasamy, the DMK candidate of Pollachi Parliamentary Constituency, and former MLA from Madathukulam, R. Jayaramakrishnan.

The opening ceremony was attended by DMK officials and numerous party workers, who gathered to support this community-focused initiative. The establishment of the stall exemplifies the party's ongoing efforts to assist and engage with the local community, especially providing comfort during the sweltering heat.
