Coimbatore: Coimbatore's Sangameshwarar Temple witnessed special rituals and homams on May 1, 2024, in observance of Guru Peyarchi and Bairavashtami. The ceremonies took place in the Kottaimedu area and featured elaborate Poojas and Yagams tailored to the celestial shift of Jupiter.
Under the supervision of temple authorities and functionary Prabhakar, the temple hosted a series of religious events starting with the Guru Peyarchi Parikara Homam. Following this, the revered deity Dakshinamoorthy, along with Navagraha Guru Bhagavan, were honored with Maha Parikara Abhishekam and continued with a grand deeparadhana ceremony.

The temple saw an influx of devout followers who participated in the rituals. The day concluded with Maha Abhishekam and deeparadhana for Kalabairavar as part of the ongoing Bairavashtami celebrations. Prasad was distributed among the attendees, marking a spiritual day filled with divine blessings and reverence.
