Electric Pole Collapsed Due to Gusty Winds in Chitra Nagar, Thoppampatti Division Repaired

In Coimbatore, a strong wind along with light rain hit various areas yesterday. An electric pole in Chitra Nagar, Thoppampatti division collapsed due to the gusty winds and was subsequently repaired.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore district experienced varying weather conditions yesterday, with strong winds and slight rainfall affecting several areas. 



One significant incident occurred in Chitra Nagar within the Thoppampatti division, where an electric pole toppled due to the stormy conditions on the evening of May 4, 2024. Following the incident, local residents quickly alerted the electricity department workers about the fallen pole. 

The electricity department workers responded promptly to the call and engaged in the task of repairing the damaged pole, restoring normalcy in the area. The quick response helped prevent any further complications arising from the collapsed infrastructure.
