The protest was marked by students carrying banners and chanting slogans, emphasizing the urgent need to halt the violence that has harmed innocent children and women in the conflict zones.



The demonstration in Coimbatore is part of a larger series of international student protests, particularly highlighting the engagements from universities like Columbia and Harvard, where students have been vocal against the harsh measures employed by the police against protesters.



The Student Federation of India (SFI) members in Coimbatore raised their voices to support their peers across the globe who are striving for peace and justice in the Middle East.



The local students showcased their discontent with the international handling of the Israel-Palestine situation and called for stronger international interventions to bring peace and stability to the affected regions.
