Young Indian Shooter S.M. Yugan Clinches 3rd Place in Italy

13-year-old S.M. Yugan secured 3rd place in the individual 73/75 RC4 shooting competition in Lonato, Italy. His achievement comes among 183 participants.


Coimbatore: S.M. Yugan, a remarkably talented young shooter from India, has once again brought pride to the nation with his latest achievement on an international platform.



At just 13 years old, Yugan participated in the individual 73/75 RC4 shooting competition held at Trap Concaverde in Lonato, Italy, on May 4th and 5th. Competing against a field of 183 shooters from various age categories, Yugan managed to secure an impressive 3rd place overall.



His journey to this point has been nothing short of inspirational. Yugan, who previously claimed a silver medal at the Khelo India team event, has continually demonstrated the qualities of a champion—dedication, skill, and relentless determination. This recent success at the international event in Italy not only highlights his capabilities but also cements his status as one of the promising young talents in the realm of Indian sports.
