Udumalai Student Achieves Second Place in State Board Exams, Tops in Tirupur District

Yugashini, a class 10 student from R.K.R. Guru Vidya School in Udumalai, scored 498 out of 500, securing second place at the state level and first in Tirupur district. Celebrations included fireworks at the school.


Tirupur: In an exceptional academic achievement, Yugashini, a student of class 10 at R.K.R. Guru Vidya Higher Secondary School in Udumalai, Tirupur district, secured second place in the Tamil Nadu state board examinations.



She scored an impressive 498 marks out of 500, also making her the district topper.



Following her return to school today, the school administration celebrated her achievement with fireworks.



R.K. Ramasamy, the school trustee and recipient of the Best Teacher Award, presented sweets to Yugashini and encouraged her to aim for the top state position in the upcoming 12th-grade exams.

Yugashini attributed her success to the constant encouragement from her teachers and her mother’s support. She thanked her teachers for conducting frequent mock tests, which kept her motivated throughout her studies. Meanwhile, the school's Principal and Secretary, along with the teachers' community and local dignitaries, extended their heartfelt congratulations to her.

During a press meet, Yugashini shared that her mother and teachers were her pillars of strength. “The continuous practice tests at school and the boundless support from my family were crucial in achieving this milestone,” she remarked. The school's management collectively expressed their gratitude towards the parents and teaching staff for their role in this success.

The event was attended by school administration, teachers, parents, and notable personalities from Udumalai, all of whom praised Yugashini for her outstanding performance and wished her success in her future endeavors.
