The event was presided over by Municipal Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran and attended by students from 17 higher secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Coimbatore Municipality.
During his address, Commissioner Prabhakaran emphasized the importance of education and urged the students to dedicate themselves fully to their studies, especially in preparation for the upcoming re-examination scheduled on June 26, 2024. He highlighted that special classes have been ongoing since May 10, 2024, conducted by the school teachers to better prepare these students.
The meeting was also graced by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Selvasurabi, City Educational Officer Thomas Xavier, and various school principals and teachers.
