Bikehers' is an event where spirited Women bikers in the city will drive from Coimbatore to Anaikatti to create awareness on abuse against women. Bikehers is organised by V Eventz.
The rally was flagged off this morning at Race Course by Ramya Bharathi, Superintendent of Police and S.Saravanan , Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic).
Close to hundred bikers geared in their biking outfits throttled their engines towards raising awareness among women to speak out and raise boldly against abuse of any form.
The team will tour through all prime locations and connecting villages through the route.
Tribal villages in Anaikatti will also be visited by the team as those women living there are deprived of reality and women rights.
The team will return back to the start point, Race Course.
