Four individuals were arrested in Pollachi for stealing a two-wheeler parked outside a residential area on May 19. The vehicle was later recovered by the police.
Coimbatore: In a recent crackdown, Pollachi East Police Station apprehended four individuals linked to the steal of a two-wheeler. The vehicle, owned by Sabareesh Kumar, was reported stolen from in front of his residence in the Ther Nilayam area on the 19th of May. Following the theft, Kumar reviewed footage from his home’s CCTV, which captured the act, and filed a complaint with the police.

Utilizing the recorded footage, police conducted an investigation that led to the tracking down of the suspects.

The culprits, identified as Eswaran from Theni district, along with his associates Pradeep Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, and Paraman, were apprehended. They were found in possession of the stolen vehicle, which was subsequently seized by the police.
Upon their arrest, all four were charged and presented before the court, where they have been remanded to custody. The quick response and effective use of CCTV footage by the Pollachi police have been pivotal in resolving this case swiftly.
