MLA Vanathi Srinivasan initiated the construction of new Anganwadi centers in various areas of Coimbatore including Police Quarters and Siddhapudur, providing essential nutrition, health, and education benefits.
Coimbatore: Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA, has commenced the foundation ceremonies for new Anganwadi centers at different localities, including the 48th Ward, Police Quarters, and Siddhapudur areas.

This initiative, taken on June 16, is part of the Social Responsibility Scheme under the Ministry of Petroleum. These centers aim to enhance nutrition, health, and educational facilities for children and benefits for mothers in the community.

Similarly, under the same scheme, the MLA also started the construction for Anganwadi centers at Ward No. 67, VKK Menon Road, Siddhapudur.

Additionally, special efforts are made to ensure pregnant women and nursing mothers in Ward No. 67, Annapoorna Layout, also receive guidance and support from these centers.

Moreover, in Ward No. 69, Kamarajapuram, another ceremony was held, marking the foundation of yet another Anganwadi center aimed at improving education, health, and nutrition for children and mothers. District Leader Ramesh along with party officials were present at the events, underlining the community’s commitment towards improving child and maternal care.
