Daily Train Operations Initiated from Kanyakumari to Dibrugarh

Salem Railway Division announced the operation of daily express trains between Kanyakumari and Dibrugarh via Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, and Katpadi starting from July.


Coimbatore: The Salem Railway Division has recently announced the shifting of Kanyakumari - Dibrugarh Express trains to daily operations. Previously running five times a week, the express trains between Kanyakumari to Dibrugarh and vice versa, cover major stops including Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, and Katpadi.

According to the release, the Dibrugarh - Kanyakumari express train (No: 22504) will commence daily operations starting from July 8. Similarly, the express train from Kanyakumari to Dibrugarh (No: 22503) will begin its daily schedule on July 12. This move is aimed at accommodating the increased passenger demand along these routes, facilitating more convenient travel options for commuters.
