Lone Elephant 'Baahubali' Terrorizes Mettupalayam Area

The lone wild elephant, named Baahubali, has been causing havoc in the Mettupalayam region, destroying crops and instilling fear among locals. Forest officials are actively trying to drive it back into the forest.



Coimbatore: For several months, a solitary wild elephant known as Baahubali has entered the Mettupalayam area, causing extensive damage to crops and terrorizing the local population.



Today, on June 27, Baahubali moved from the Nelli Malai forest area into the Dasampalayam region, anguishing local farmers by encamping in their fields. Prompted by the situation, forest officials have swiftly responded, actively working to drive the elephant back into the forest areas to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of local residents.
